2-Day Camel Trek from Mhamid
Embark on an unforgettable camel trek; and desert tour through the mesmerizing golden dunes of the Sahara, where you’ll experience the serenity of the desert and the rich traditions of nomadic life.
Day 1: Camel Trekking & Desert Camp
After breakfast, meet your experienced nomad guide and camel team. Begin your camel trek, journeying through the vast, open desert for approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Walk alongside these magnificent animals or ride comfortably as you take in the breathtaking scenery of the Sahara.
Pause under the shade of a palm tree or acacia for a well-deserved lunch, where your guide will prepare a delicious traditional meal for you to enjoy in the tranquil surroundings.
Continue your desert tour deeper into the dunes, experiencing the ever-changing landscapes as you make your way to the camp.
Upon arrival at the desert camp, settle in and enjoy a traditional dinner cooked over the fire. Gather around the campfire with your guides, listening to Berber songs and stories. As the night falls, marvel at the spectacular starlit sky, a truly magical experience in the heart of the Sahara.
Day 2: Sunrise & Return
Early Morning: Wake up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the golden Sahara dunes — a magical moment for quiet reflection or stunning desert photography.
Enjoy a hearty traditional Moroccan breakfast prepared by your Berber guides, fueling you for the return journey.
Return: Embark on your camel trek back through the dunes, following the soft rhythm of your camel, as the morning light paints the desert in gold.
